Upon verbal disagreement with her supervisor, Mrs. Dawnmarie posted a negative remark on her private facebook wall about the supervisor. The remark attracted comments from her staff mates. On reporting to work the following day, she was suspended and later fired. The company argued that her act was a violation of their internet policy by criticizing her overseer online. The Hartford NLRB office filed a complaint of unlawful dismissal of Mrs. Dawnmarie stating that the party was involved in protected concerted activity on Facebook at the time when she criticized her senior. In addition, NLRB identified several unlawful provisions within the company’s manual of conduct. While reviewing Departure’s website, I came too much different conclusion. The site seemed more geared to getting me to sign up to be a consultant and/or host a party then to actually sell me the Departure itself. It is definitely a different approach. I was still able to look and buy their product, but it wasn’t as easy. I had to mind the right catalogue and once I did that It wasn’t where I could purchase their product. Once I found the link to buy It still seemed like a cluster of products. It was barely broken down Into sections but more based on catalogue end times and sales. It was a lot easier to â€Å"Host† a party and find a consultant or even to become a consultant then to actually buy their product. They do however offer nice benefits for hosting a party. Depending on how much people would spend on your behalf would determine how much free product or discounted product you would receive. Free always sounds like a good number. However I don’t think Departure reaches as many potential consumers as they could. Besides being able to sign up to be a consultant I didn’t see a place to register for new promotions or get email notifications, or if there was a place it wasn’t easy to access. They are depending on new recruitment to spread the word. Even though Departure has been around for a long time, I have had very few interactions with its products. He has firm and strong beliefs in the beginning of the novel, but as a result of some horrible events, he begins to struggle with his beliefs in God. Despite his hard times through the Holocaust, he still has faith, but in a different way. At the beginning of the novel, Elie Wiesel has a very strong and absolute belief in God. When he is asked by Moshe the Beadle why he prays, he thought to himself, Why do I pray? A strange question. Why do I live? Why do I breathe? Praying to Elie, was as routine and normal as eating or brushing his teeth. Elie has unconditional faith and couldnt imagine a life without God. He studies religion and wants to learn more and more every day, but soon an unpredictable event would tear him from his home and test his faith. Elies faith that God is everywhere, and that God is good almost seems impossible to believe because of the cruelty and unkindness he witnesses during the Holocaust. Contrary to his beliefs, men are being cruel and they are heartlessly burning and killing people they deem useless. Elie thinks, Where is he? Here he is, he is hanging here on this gallows. Elie doubts God, so much, he believes that he in a way, dies.It would be wrong to say that Elie lost his faith in God. Throughout the entire novel, Elie uses religious metaphors, even during his lowest points of disbelief. He even made some references to biblical verses, when denying his faith. Those things, prove that the whole time he still had faith, though it is close to nothing. In the end, his struggle to maintain his faith is resolved, helping him to deal with the experiences he went through. Elie views his faith and religion now in a different way learning things he might not have learned before. Even though his faith has been restored, it has really been his faith that saved him.
